God save the King

This past weekend I saw the much talked about King’s Speech and absolutely loved it.

One thing I was immediately drawn to was all the wallpaper! Wallpaper often gets a bad wrap but I find the geometric Art Deco prints as well as the classic Victorian Damasks and florals to be beautiful. Wallpaper patterns, like the ones featured below, look completely contemporary when paired with modern lines or when used for emphasis as a statement wall. 

Here are some of my favorite patterns inspired by the movie:
